Wednesday PRIDE Crafting event– Join Us!

Take a midweek breather and drop into our friendly Wednesday Pride Crafting Event, hosted by Gabe Vandvik, your VP Wellbeing and Campaigns Officer on the JCR Exec.

Expect a relaxed space to chat, unwind, meet new people, make your own rainbow mosaics, try some online games, or simply enjoy a quiet moment with some free refreshments.

We also have boards with cards in the Furness TV Room from the 1 June and throughout this month, for you to write up the names of any LGBTQ+ people you want the college to all show some love for, whether they be inspirational historical figures like Alan Turing, or good friends, or partners.

So just bring yourself, your friends, and good vibes.

Everyone’s welcome — come along and make your Wednesday afternoon a little brighter.

Directions to Furness TV Room

The TV Room is located in Furness College. There are two access doors to the TV Room. All Furness undergraduate students and staff can swipe their ID card on the card system which is located on the wall outside door in the quad. The TV room can also be accessed through Trevor Bar.
