Student Bike Hire returns this January

Save money, stay healthy and travel sustainably with the Lancaster University student Bike Hire scheme, a low-cost alternative to bus travel.
The Lancaster University Bike Hire scheme returns this January with a larger range of bikes than ever before. The scheme, which is run in partnership with local cycle refurbishment experts iCYCLE, gives Lancaster University students an easy and affordable way to rent a bike on a termly basis.
From Monday 15 January 2024 Lancaster University students can hire a bike for the entire Lent Term, January to March 2024, for a cost starting at just £50. Pre-paid customers will be invited to an exclusive ‘early bird’ event in the marquee in Alexandre Square on Monday 15 January, where they will have their first choice of the stock of bikes, while those who have not pre-paid will be able to claim their bikes on Tuesday 16 and Wednesday 17 January on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. Join the waiting list to pre-pay and secure your bike for Lent Term now.
Visit Bike Hire - Lancaster University for more information on the scheme and how to reserve your bike now.
