Who is Discover Lancaster for?

The programme works in partnership with local secondary schools, predominantly in Lancashire and Cumbria to support students who meet widening participation criteria, including:

  • Students eligible for Free School Meals
  • Students identified by schools as benefiting from additional higher education support

Students are nominated by their schools to ensure the programme reaches those most likely to benefit.
