Bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms

Most of our ensuite accommodation was been built between 2004 and 2008 and has a standardised layout and finish, with typically eight students sharing the communal kitchen. Some of our older ensuite blocks (built 1989-1995) were designed to different layouts and specifications, and that may be reflected in a lower price.

Most bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms cost £177.59 per week on a 40 week contract, all colleges offer these rooms. There are a few rooms on a 39 week contract in Bowland and Cartmel College that finish a week earlier.

Rooms in Bowland Hall cost between £153.37 and £177.59 per week depending on the facilities provided (those priced higher offer a wider "3/4 size" bed and soft seating in the kitchen/diner).

County's John Creed Building costs £153.37 per week, for 40 weeks.

Slaidburn House (Bowland) and the George Fox Building (Fylde) cost £174.09 per week for 40 weeks.

The numbers sharing differs between the buildings and as such will appeal to different people. Most ensuite bedrooms are arranged in clusters of eight people sharing a kitchen, though there are some areas where only five (Bowland Tower) or six share.

Bowland Hall and County's John Creed Building see groups of 3-4 students sharing flats in the smaller houses. Six people share the flats with the bigger beds.

Fylde's George Fox Building sees 9 or 10 students sharing a kitchen, but there are six kitchens on each floor making it very sociable.

Bowland's Slaidburn House has two kitchens on each floor, with eight students allocated to each one.

The bedrooms are furnished with a bed, desk and chair, wardrobe and bookshelves, with blinds or curtains at the windows.

Your private bathroom contains a washbasin, shower and WC.

All of the beds are singles (with the exception of parts of Bowland Hall), though the lengths can vary between 1800 and 2100mm

Kitchens are equipped with cupboard storage space, fridge and freezer provision, cooker and microwave, kettle and toaster, table and chairs, plus a vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board.
