It's that time of year again! Work in Progress are thrilled to announce that the BBLC (Belgium and Luxemburg Chamber of Commerce) Eurostart Venture Awards are back for 2027 and we would love to see Lancaster University students and graduates take advantage of this fantastic opportunity!

Whether you’re developing an idea or already building your start-up, EVA offers the chance to showcase your venture on an international stage, connect with inspiring entrepreneurs and, importantly, receive invaluable feedback from experienced leaders, industry professionals and investors who know what it takes to build and grow a successful business.

Sometimes, the right feedback, a fresh perspective or a conversation with someone who has been there before can make all the difference in shaping your next steps.

What could you gain?

• £1,000 or more - every finalist receives a minimum of £1,000 to support their business journey.
• Expert feedback and insights - pitch your venture to an experienced panel of judges and gain constructive feedback from professionals who can challenge your thinking, highlight opportunities and help you strengthen your business.
• Connections that count - network with investors, business leaders and fellow entrepreneurs from across the UK, Belgium and Luxembourg.

Lancaster University will select three early-stage start-ups to progress to the semi-finals, with one applicant going on to pitch at the final in London on Wednesday 3 March 2027.

The competition is looking for innovative, scalable ventures with the potential to make a meaningful impact on the world of tomorrow. Your business can be pre-launch or at an early stage, provided it meets the eligibility criteria, including having raised no more than €50,000 in equity capital before the first pre-event.

The deadline to apply is Monday 30 November 2026 at 5pm.
