Campus in the City 2026 is back!

Lancaster University’s Campus in the City is taking over More Music in Morecambe on Friday 10 April, 10.30am to 4pm, bringing a full day of free, drop‑in, family‑focused fun.

Get ready to discover mind‑blowing research and dive into hands‑on activities, crafts, games, experiments, virtual‑reality adventures and so much more.

  • Become a doctor at the Teddy Bear Hospital
  • Meet a real humanoid robot
  • Explore Wordsworth’s Lake District in Minecraft
  • Build penny batteries
  • Tackle a giant tabletop adventure game about coastal challenges
  • Explore the Physics Fun Factory
  • Take on an AI challenge to spot real faces from fake ones
  • Enjoy a seaside cinema showing Morecambe then‑and‑now
  • Handle 3D‑printed snake fangs and play a unique fact‑finding snakes‑and‑ladders game
  • Step inside the human body or experience the Northern Lights through immersive virtual reality.

There’s something for all ages. Drop in anytime, stay as long as you like, and enjoy one unmissable day to spark your curiosity in the heart of Morecambe.
