Event Details
Cities generate most greenhouse-gas emissions and are increasingly at the forefront of climate resilience and hazard management. This presentation explores the growing role of cities in Just Transition and international climate governance, arguing that cities are increasingly expected to deliver both climate action and climate justice while emerging as partners and governance actors in their own right.
The Pentland Centre is hosting a series of sessions designed for our Professional Services members, and open to Professional Services colleagues across the University, as well as academic colleagues and others who may not have expertise in the topic. The sessions are designed to present research expertise in straightforward language, making it easier for non-academic staff to engage with the speaker's work.
