Marco Brambilla of dunnhumby will present a seminar to the Management Science Department.

Abstract: “How much will I sell and how should I price my products?” These are two questions retailers concern themselves with. dunnhumby Price and Promotion provides tools to address these questions at scale with automated solutions. The talk will provide a broad overview on the science behind our Price and Promotion products.

Bio: BSc in Theoretical Computer Science, MSc. Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, PhD and Post Doc in Computational Neuroscience. Ten years’ experience in modelling and analysing of retail data. My main scientific interests have always been mathematical modelling, theory of computation, formal logic, and statistical inference.
