We’re pleased to invite you to the first Lancaster University Connects webinar on Monday 6 July 1.30pm-2.30pm BST. This inaugural online engagement event will be a valuable opportunity to hear directly from our new Vice‑Chancellor, Professor Steve Decent, as he shares his early reflections, priorities and ambitions for Lancaster University. It will also offer a wider look at the work taking place across the institution and the impact we are delivering locally, nationally and globally.

The session will include:

• An address from Professor Steve Decent, offering his perspective on the year ahead and the opportunities and challenges shaping the sector.

• Updates on key areas of University activity, including how we support our students and progress on major initiatives in health, sustainability, cyber, computer science and more.

• Insights from Lancaster researchers, highlighting how our work is making a difference.

• Question and answers, giving you the chance to pose questions in advance and on the day.

This online event is open to our partners, general public, supporters, alumni, regional stakeholders and international community. Whether you work closely with the University or simply want to stay connected to our direction of travel, we hope you will join us.
