Mind the Gap is a powerful, award‑winning feature film written, produced and directed by Ricardo Barker (Leeds Trinity University).
Through a compelling and reflective narrative, the film explores the often‑overlooked impact of unconscious bias in higher education and its role in shaping differential outcomes.
Lancaster University and Manchester Metropolitan University, in collaboration with their Students' Unions, warmly invite you to a co‑hosted live screening of the film, followed by a Q&A with its Director, Ricardo Barker, alongside students involved in the film’s production. This cross‑institutional event is open to colleagues from across the UK higher education sector.
While we encourage you to attend in person for the full programme, we are pleased to offer online access to the film screening and Q&A sections of the programme for colleagues and invited students from Lancaster University and Manchester Metropolitan University only. Please note, the interactive workshop is in‑person only.
