Event Details

Since 2012 Lancaster University has invested over £50m in cutting-edge scientific equipment and facilities, which you can access.

We’re already collaborating with businesses to drive forward fuel cell development, develop 2D materials and create ‘Lab on a Chip’ technologies in our state of the art labs. Our Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectrometer facility is one of the most advanced in the UK, our Molecular Beam Epitaxy systems and clean room facilities can create semiconductor devices for next generation electronics and sensors and we can build intricate structures smaller than the eye can see with our Nanofabrication laser lithography machine.

Please join us to find out more about Lancaster University’s Chemistry, Engineering and Physics Departments, including the Lancaster Quantum Technology Centre & IsoLab facilities which offer specialist technology, laboratories and workshops typically not available to businesses.

Our dedicated Experimental Officers and Technology Access Consultants will introduce you to state-of-the-art equipment supporting analytical research and development requirements that offer the capability to accelerate your product and process innovation.

You will also hear about seed funding we have available to support new research partnerships through the £11.4m Collaborative Technology Access Programme (cTAP) facility.
