Event Details

Children and families can learn the basics of climbing at Sport Lancaster with their new Rock Up and Climb Sessions.

Whether you are coming with friends, siblings or as a family, you’ll get the chance to learn skills such as fitting a harness, tying a figure-of-eight knot, belaying, bouldering and top-roping. The sessions will be a fun and engaging introduction to climbing in a supportive environment, lead by a member of our experienced climbing team, and gives children and families a way to spend quality time together while trying something new and challenging themselves.

Sessions are available for up to 6 climbers, and cost £9.35 per person for a 1-hour session. No experience is necessary, just a sense of adventure!

Please note that these sessions are only available for children aged 6 years and over, and under 10’s must have an adult in the building while taking part in the session- they don’t need to take part in the session.

Sessions will run throughout the Summer holidays, and times are as follows:
