Experimental Particle Physics webinar
Abstract: Observation of lepton number violation (LNV) or lepton flavour violation (LFV) in decays involving charged leptons would be clear evidence of physics beyond the standard model. The NA62 experiment at CERN collected a large sample of K+ decays into final states with multiple charged particles in 2016-2018. This sample provides sensitivities to rare decays with branching ratios as low as 10^{-11}. Searches for LNV and LFV in K+ decays are presented based on this data-set.
