From 29 June – 30 August, Lancaster University staff are invited to play rounders, organised by Sport Lancaster.

This summer, Sport Lancaster are rolling back the years! From 29 June – 30 August Lancaster University staff are invited to play rounders. This is a fun, informal opportunity to get active, enjoy the sunshine, and connect with colleagues across the University, or boost team morale.

Departments can organise and play matches internally between colleagues. We recommend between 7-9 players per team to have the best possible game! Alternatively, departments can register their interest in playing against another department, subject to interest and availability.

Games can be arranged at a time that suits the teams involved (weather dependent), and all equipment and a grass playing area will be provided. We can also provide rules, guidance and information, and matches can be self-umpired, or we can provide an umpire (dependent on availability).

No previous experience is needed, just a willingness to get involved and have a laugh with your colleagues! Taking part is free, and all you need to do to get involved is fill out an enquiry form.
