Graduation Timetable

Our Summer ceremonies mark the achievements of our Undergraduate and PhD students.

Undergraduates

Undergraduate students graduate by college* and then by faculty, school or department.

*NB. The following students graduate as separate cohorts:

• All students from Lancaster Medical School who have studied for an MBChB
• All students from Furness College (Barrow).

Furness College clarification

The timetable refers to two Furness Colleges:

• Furness College (Barrow): Students who have studied as part of Furness College, located in Barrow-in-Furness
• Furness College (Lancaster): Students who belong to Furness College, based on the Lancaster University Campus.

PhD Awards

PhD students graduate by faculty, and then by school or department.

There is a separate cohort for students from the University of Cumbria.

The timetable refers to the following faculties:

• Faculty of Health and Medicine (FHM)
• Faculty of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences (FHASS)
• Faculty of Science and Technology (FST)
• Lancaster University Management School (LUMS)

NB: The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) is now known as the Faculty of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences (FHASS).
