International students to benefit as UA92 and Navitas sign new partnership

Students looking to pursue a career in media, business, sport and digital will now have more options available to them as a new partnership is announced today between Navitas, Lancaster University and University Academy 92 (UA92.)

Established in 2017 with co-founders Lancaster University (LU) and the Class of ’92 – former Manchester United football players, UA92 offers a unique learning experience that enables students to develop and enhance their life skills alongside their chosen degree course.

Navitas will launch UA92 Global to work with UA92 as an international recruitment arm - to attract a greater number and diversity of students from around the world that want to access degree programmes awarded by Lancaster University. UA92 is supported by industry partners such as KPMG, TalkTalk and Microsoft – who also have space on campus. It will provide a Pathway option for international students who want to follow a Foundation or Integrated Year One programme.

Speaking at the contract signing Paul Lovegrove, Navitas Universities Partnerships Europe CEO & Global Chief Operating Officer said: “We are delighted to be partnering with UA92 and this new relationship strengthens our existing partnership with Lancaster University. UA92 offers international students greater flexibility to develop their skills and prepare them for their chosen career with access to a network of industry leaders and advisors. I am confident that students will enjoy a positive and rewarding experience.”

Dr Marnie Millard OBE, Interim CEO at UA92 welcomed the association with Navitas. She said: “At UA92 we relish working in partnership – indeed we are formed through close collaboration between Lancaster University and the Class of 92.

"Our partnership with Navitas is an excellent addition to the UA92 offer – enabling us to reach an even more diverse range of students and offer another route to a degree.”

They will be instrumental in helping students from around the globe to experience the unique educational offer that we pride ourselves on at UA92.”

The UA92 Difference
