Lancaster rises one place to rank seventh out of 131 universities in the UK, its highest ever national ranking in this table, solidifying its status as a top ten University and the North West’s leading university in the TheCompleteUniversityGuide.co.uk 2020 University League Tables, published Wednesday 1 May 2019.

Other notable achievements included:

· Ranked 3^rd nationally for Graduate Prospects

· 19 subjects are ranked in the top ten

· Creative Writing at Lancaster ranked number 1 in The complete university guide subject table

Lancaster has also scored the highest in the region for Graduate Prospects and third highest nationally, with a score of 89.2 against the average score in the UK of 75.5.

In the 70 separate subject tables, Lancaster is a top performer appearing in the top ten for 19 subjects out of the 31 taught, and ranked first nationally for Creative Writing.

Lancaster University Vice-Chancellor Professor Mark E. The main University League Table is based on ten measures: Entry Standards, Student Satisfaction, Research Quality, Research Intensity, Graduate Prospects, Student-Staff Ratio, Spending on Academic Services, Spending on Student Facilities, Good Honours Degrees, and Completion. It includes 131 institutions.

The 70 subject tables are based on five measures (Student Satisfaction, Research Quality, Research Intensity, Entry Standards and Graduate Prospects) and include 143 universities, university colleges and specialist higher education institutions.
