Grant Writing Development Programme

This grant writing programme has been developed to complement the support offered by the Research Services Office (RSO) which offers information, advice and guidance for externally-funded research projects.

The programme is themed around the following areas of grant development:

  • The Funding Landscape
  • Internal Processes
  • Development of your Research Idea
  • Support for key elements of your Grant Submission - Impact, Narrative CV's, emedding EDI, Data Management Plans
  • The Craft of Writing a Successful Grant Submission

In addition, a mentoring scheme to support grant development is being launched, in the near future. This can support researchers to develop more competitive funding applications by matching with a more experienced mentor with a successful track record of securing grants. To express early interest in being a mentor or mentee contact: researchculture@lancaster.ac.uk

It is expected that the programme will be of particular interest to Early and Mid-Career Researchers. The full programme will run twice within a year and researchers are welcome to attend the full programme or just those sessions of interest.

The schedule of events for the year will be shown below once published.
