Pathways to Lancaster

As well as studying a Lancaster programme at one of our partner or overseas campus, there are lots of ways that international students can study at Lancaster's main campus in the UK. Students can apply to study for a degree or foundation programme at our main campus or transfer as part of a pathway programme. Students from other universities can also visit Lancaster for shorter experiences, by spending a term or year abroad with us, or by joining one of our summer schools.

Celebrating 20 years of education and global impact

Lancaster University and Sunway University are marking a significant milestone this year, celebrating 20 years of partnership that now supports more than 7,000 students.

Partnership improves prosthetic limb design for people in Ukraine

Lancaster University researchers are working with their Ukrainian counterparts and UK amputees to make prosthetic limbs more comfortable for injured military personnel in the war.

The Sunway-Lancaster partnership was important, not only because I was able to receive a UK degree whilst studying in Malaysia, but because it also served to make my learning experience more holistic. Choosing Lancaster as a Sunway University student

My time of studying in Lancaster is simply unforgettable, an exceptional experience made possible by the impeccable faculty support and deep bonds of friendship forged through irreplaceable memories and navigating challenges together during and after assignments and exams. A personal memory that I would like to share was my daily visit to the restaurant ‘KC’s’ in Alexandra Square during exam season.

An academic journey from Sunway to Lancaster

I really enjoyed the programme at Lancaster University. The block teaching method was challenging at first, but the hands-on assessments helped me to develop both my technical and critical thinking skills. The teaching staff were very supportive throughout. I appreciated the detailed feedback on assignments and access to the computing labs at the Info Lab, which were a great resource.
