2026 programme update

We are delighted that you are interested in studying one of our programmes.

We are committed to providing a world-class education that inspires and prepares you for your future. We want our graduates to be successful in their chosen careers and personal lives, and to contribute positively to society.

We aim to ensure you reach your full potential by using innovative teaching and assessment methods, and by delivering a flexible academic structure.

To ensure our Gold-standard teaching develops with the needs of our students, we constantly review the way we design, shape and deliver our curriculum to make sure we deliver the best possible learning experience. As part of this on-going review, some of our master’s programmes will not be running in 2026.

Lancaster University offers a range of other master’s degrees. You may wish to continue your bachelor’s subject and specialise further, or you could decide to move into a new area of study. Many of our master’s degrees are open to students who have not studied the subject previously.
