Transport service from Manchester Airport to Lancaster University

To help you plan your journey to Lancaster University, we are offering a paid coach service from Manchester Airport to the Lancaster University campus on the following dates:

  • PSE10: Saturday 4 July 2026
  • PSE4: Saturday 22 August 2026
  • Study Start: Saturday 5 September 2026
  • Main Arrivals: TBC

About the Service

  • Bookings for this service are charged at £25.00 per student and £35.00 per guest.
  • Transport between Manchester Airport and Lancaster University will be provided by coach, meaning you will travel alongside other students.
  • Each student must book their own place – please do not book on behalf of another student.
  • You may book up to two guest spaces for individuals who are accompanying you and are not Lancaster University students. These must be added at the time of booking.
  • To complete your booking, you will need your email address and College name.
  • Please allow at least 2 hours between your flight arrival time and your selected transfer slot to ensure you have enough time to reach the departure point.
  • You may bring 2 pieces of hold luggage (e.g., two suitcases) and 1 piece of hand luggage.
  • Lancaster University Student Ambassadors will be stationed at a designated meeting point within Manchester Airport and will escort you to your coach.
  • Details about the airport meeting point and arrival on campus will be emailed to you 2-3 days before your booking.
  • The journey from Manchester Airport to Lancaster University takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.
  • If you miss your scheduled transfer for any reason, please contact us and we will do our best to arrange an alternative shuttle time (subject to availability).

Refund Policy

Please note that refund requests can be made up to 24 hours before the scheduled coach departure. After this time, we are unable to offer refunds, including in the event of force majeure or if your flight is changed or cancelled and we are unable to rearrange an alternative shuttle time.
