The Graduate College accommodation team manage a range of two-bedroom flats across campus, suitable for students with a family.

We also have a few one-bedroom flats available on request - please contact us for details about those.

The flats

Bowland Main

There are three two-bedroom flats on the top floor of Bowland Main suitable for families with one or two children, costing £249.20 per week.

These flats are situated just off Alexandra Square, close to the FASS building, the Library, bus stops and shops. All have a double bedroom with a 1300mm wide bed and a second bedroom with bunk beds, a living room, kitchen and a bathroom with a shower over the bath.

They measure between 52 and 65 square metres in size.

Some of these flats have a space for a washing machine, and there is lift access to some, but not all flats.

County Field

There are seven two-bedroom flats at the north end of campus by the LICA Building suitable for couples with up to two children. The weekly cost is £265.72.

Each has a double bedroom with a 1300mm wide bed, a further bedroom with bunk beds, a living/dining/kitchen area and a bathroom.

The flats measure 63 square metres.

Washing machines are not permitted in these blocks, although there is a laundrette located close by.

County Main

There are three two-bedroom flats on the top floor of the County Main building at the north end of campus, suitable for a couple with one or two children and costing between £265.72 and £280.84 per week. The building has lift access.

Each measures between 70 and 81 square metres and contains a double bedroom with a 1300mm wide bed, a further twin bedroom which has one or two single beds, a living/dining area, kitchen and a bathroom with a shower over the bath.

Washing machines are not permitted in these blocks, although there is a laundrette located close by.

County South

There are five two-bedroom flats on the top floor of the FASS Building on the north spine, two suitable for couples with one child, and these cost £249.20 per week.

They range in size from 53 to 55 square metres and include a double bedroom with a 1300mm wide bed, a further single bedroom, a living/dining area, kitchen and bathroom.

Some of these flats have a space for a washing machine (there is a is a laundrette close by for those that don't), and there is limited lift access to the top floor.

Furness Main

There are seven two-bedroom flats in Furness at the centre of campus, suitable for a couple with one or two children. The weekly cost is between £249.20 and £265.72.

The flats range in size between 52 and 75 square metres and sit on the top floor of the main college building, featuring a double bedroom with 1300mm wide bed, a further bedroom with bunk beds, a living/dining/kitchen area and a bathroom.

Some of these flats have a space for a washing machine (and for those that don't there is a laundrette located close by). There is lift access to some but not all of these flats.

Please note that the floor below the flats is currently undergoing a refurbishment that will extend part way in to the 2022/23 academic year, and that while our contractors are considerate there may be some intermittent noise disruption during normal working hours.
