2022 was a tough year on the land, with the war in Ukraine resulting in unprecedented increases in fertiliser prices, followed by the driest UK summer since 1976. Within this context, and the increased cost of living, UK agriculture has been under the spotlight, and not all the attention has been positive (https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-63961659).
