Supporting Healthy Eating

Meals and snacks provided at the Centre are included in the fees and aim to encourage a healthy, well balanced diet.‌ The menus include a variety of foods from the main food group, providing key nutrients for a growing child.

The children are able to choose foods from a varied global menu which reflects the cultural diversity of our setting. We promote independence and our children are encouraged to self-serve lunches.

What's on the menu?

Sourcing quality ingredients from local suppliers all meals are freshly prepared by chefs in the University's Allergen Accredited kitchen.

Allergy Information

We strive to provide an inclusive social experience for each child who attends our Centre. All staff regularly undertake relevant allergy awareness training and hold Level 2 Food hygiene qualifications. Our menus are created by the University Head Chef and are devised to offer a meal option each day which is free of the 14 main allergens.
