Who is eligible?

You will automatically be considered for this scholarship if you:

  • are an international fee paying student
  • accept your offer by 23:59 GMT on Wednesday 7 April 2027

How to apply

There is no separate application process for this scholarship. Eligible students will be identified automatically through their application.

The scholarship will be awarded when you accept your offer.

Payment of the scholarship

The award will be worth £2,000 and will be awarded as a tuition fee reduction.

Combining scholarship awards

This award can be combined with other Lancaster scholarships, including the Alumni Loyalty Scholarship, the Master's Excellence Scholarship, the Postgraduate International Regional Scholarship, the Postgraduate India Scholarship and the Management School Progression Scholarship, where eligible.

Further information

The scholarship is available across all MA, MSc, MBA, LLM full-time taught postgraduate degree programmes offered fully on campus at Lancaster University, Bailrigg campus. It is also available to students on our EMBA programme. It is not available to students applying for MSc by Research programmes, MRes, Postgraduate Certificate, Postgraduate Diploma, or online programmes.

  • Applicants must have accepted a conditional or unconditional offer from Lancaster University.
  • Applicants in receipt of external funding will only be eligible for this scholarship where the external funding covers less than 50% of the tuition fee.
  • Awardees must be classed as 'overseas' or ‘international' fee-paying students for tuition fee purposes, for the duration of their studies. If you are awarded the scholarship and are subsequently reassessed as a ‘home’ fee-payer, you will no longer be eligible for the scholarship.

Lancaster University reserves the right to withdraw this scholarship or bursary if award holders are subsequently found to be ineligible or if the terms and conditions of the scholarship are not adhered to.
