I joined S.S. Tools as Director after completing my MSc in Management at Lancaster. Coming from a technical background, the business and management knowledge I gained at Lancaster gave me the confidence and skill set to step into a leadership role in our family business and look at it through a much broader strategic lens.

MSc real-world application

The international mindset and business acumen I gained from my MSc are things I use every day. Whether it's strategic decision-making, understanding global markets, or managing teams, the management frameworks and global perspective I gained at Lancaster have been invaluable in running and growing the business.

The Lancaster experience

One of the best parts of my time at Lancaster was being surrounded by students from all over the world. I made friends and built international connections that have lasted well beyond graduation. A particular highlight was Business Game week. It was intense, competitive, and incredibly engaging, and it's one of my most memorable experiences from the course.
