Back issues of thousands of academic journals in a wide variety of disciplines. Issues are available both as images and as text, making searching possible both within each title and across the database.
SAGE journals
SAGE is your gateway to over 1,000 world-class online research journals, covering a diverse range of subjects including business, health, politics and sociology.
Project MUSE
The leading provider of digital humanities and social science content for the scholarly community around the world. Currently, Project MUSE has over 674 journals from 125 publishers.
Henry Stewart Talks Business and Management Collection
The Henry Stewart Talks Business and Management Collection contains over 1,000 specially prepared, animated, online, multi-media lectures and case studies by experts from commerce, industry, the professions and academia for universities, business schools, colleges and continuing professional development. There are over 850 contributing editors, speakers and case study presenters and more than 30,000 informative slides.
Springer
Springer Link provides online, full-text access to journals published by Springer. Subject coverage includes life sciences, chemical sciences, environmental sciences, geosciences, computer science, mathematics, medicine, physics & astronomy, engineering and economics.
All of the above are available through the Alumni Library pages - when you click the alumni library pages link you will be asked to log on to the alumni website. If you have not yet registered for this website, please click the 'new registration' link below the login form.
EBSCO Business Source
This provides access to more than 1,200 business magazines and journals, including top management journals such as Fortune magazine, New Statesman, Time magazine and Bloomberg Businessweek.

Alumni can receive discounts on University programmes, as well as retaining access to a number of facilities on campus for a discounted rate.

We welcome our alumni to come back and visit our campus. Whether you're here for an event, to use the sports facilities or to attend a performance, Lancaster University campus is open to you.
Our self-guided alumni tour will help you locate some of your old haunts and provide some interesting facts as you wander around campus!
If you hold a Lancaster University awarded qualification from one of our partner, or previous partnered, institutions, you are eligible to join the Lancaster University Alumni Community. Please email alumni@lancaster.ac.uk to make your request and we’ll sign you up! View the full list of institutions.
As a Lancaster Graduate, you can join as an Alumni Library member free of charge. This entitles you to borrow up to ten items from the Library. Please see the joining the Library for more details (including the service to check the availability of books/resources before your visit.)
Please come to the information point (opening hours) and bring your proof of address or ID. Your card will be prepared while you wait.
When deciding on a date for a reunion or visit, bear in mind that many outlets on campus are not open out of term time, but more on-campus accommodation is available.
Is there anyone else from your cohort you have lost contact with and want to try to get hold of? Whilst GDPR prevents us giving out individual contact details, we may be able to contact someone on your behalf, assuming we have current information. Email us at alumni@lancaster.ac.uk.
Accommodation required?
Would you like a campus tour? If you haven’t been for a while, you may not recognise the place and we may be able to provide a member of staff from the alumni team to show you around. The ideal size of group for this is no more than 8-10 and tours are subject to staff availability, though there are regular campus show rounds for prospective students on certain days and it may be possible tag along. Email alumni@lancaster.ac.uk
Alternatively, you may decide to have a wander unguided, in which case we have two great campus maps on this we page to help you navigate yourselves and a great self guided tour to help you recognise old haunts!
Trying to see your old department may be tricky either in or out of term time – and it may well not be where it used to be, but feel free to ask the question and we’ll see if it is feasible.
Want a pint in your campus bar? If you visit in term time it is likely to be open in the evening, but during vacations, Fylde is the only one regularly open. Please check our term dates to avoid disappointment.
Where do you want to eat/drink? You may want to find your favourite bar or restaurant in Lancaster, which may still be there. Check with our staff as we also like eating and drinking and may have some alternatives if your old favourite is no more.
Ideas for trips around the area? We may be able to assist with this or you may prefer to research at your leisure using visit Lancaster.
Finally, don’t forget to send us a photo afterwards and tell us all about your trip – email alumni@lancaster.ac.uk with memories old and new!
