Weekly opportunity to drop-in and chat about your ideas/business with Richard Baguley, our resident start-up advisor. He'll provide a listening ear, with feedback for you ideas along with information on how the Work in Progress Team can help you from support to funding opportunities.

This session is place where you can get constructive advice and feedback on anything relating to:• The idea you just has last night that you’re curious to unpack a bit more.• An idea, passion or technology you want to develop as a start up• The thing in your community you want to work to change for the better• How to put yourself out there if you don’t have an ideaHowever early or advanced your idea Richard provides a listening ear, offering feedback and signposting to the best opportunities for next step to support you and your idea on campus and beyond.If you don’t have an idea of your own, maybe you’d like the chance to contribute to other people’s; as a spare pair of hands and as an opportunity to team up with others, and share and uncover what you can contribute to making something happen. Richard will tell you about how you can get involved in our ‘Creative Confidence’ of activities and our ‘Simply Do Ideas’ platform to work with like-minded people across all faculties. It’s one fun way to uncover your 21st Century Skills (stories you can tell that you can collaborate, create, communicate and think critically) to find your place and have an impact in the 21st century world of work.You’ll come away with more clarity, a sense of what’s next and links to a network of people and resources to get you on your way. Richard (LinkedIn) is Managing Director of GDR Public Relations and has 25 years’ experience in PR & Communication industry for major blue chip brands. He is also a part-time tutor in at Lancaster University. He’s just a great starting point to talk.Running every Friday in our Work in Progress Studio located in Alexandra Square at Lancaster University.
