An exhibition featuring the local area and people past and present
This new exhibition features the local area and people in photographs, postcards, books and theatre programmes, selected from the Library's Unique and Distinctive Collections. From postcards of old Morecambe to biographies and dwellings of famous inhabitants, we hope you'll find something to inspire your exploration of the North-West.
In contrast to curious photos of times past, we're also delighted to host the stunning contemporary photography of Lancaster student Mihnea Ungureanu. Mihnea says:
"In the past two years I've discovered how beautiful the campus is an how many beautiful places Lancaster as a city can offer for students. Through my photos I would like to show students, future students and people that live around Lancaster, different places that you could enjoy and explore during the time spent here."
