You will need to pay a deposit to secure your place on some of our postgraduate courses.
All visiting PGR students are charged a registration levy of £500. This covers visits of up to three months and no additional tuition fee is payable during this period.
If your visit is longer than three months but less than a full academic year, you will pay the £500 registration levy plus tuition fees for each additional month of study beyond the initial three months. The monthly tuition fee is calculated as annual fee for the full-time equivalent course, divided by twelve, and multiplied by the number of extra months
Visiting students studying at Lancaster for a full academic year will be charged 100% of the published annual fee for the equivalent full-time course. The £500 registration levy does not apply in this case.
Charges are based on calendar months rather than exact dates. The full monthly tuition fee will apply even if you are studying at Lancaster for only part of a month.
