Event Details

This is a psychology event as part of Campus in the City. Campus in the City is an exciting, interactive project which brings our world-class research and more to the city centre, as we move into St Nicholas Arcades for five weeks from 24th February 2018. We want to bring local people, academics and students closer together while bringing our research to life and sharing the opportunity to experience the relevance of this research for everyone.

Join us for this fascinating event in the Campus in the City shop, where you will be presented with information relating to an individual’s movement over the previous two weeks, which has been collected from a smartphone in advance. The information will be presented in a digital or paper format, but will include maps and a list of locations where people have spent more time. You will then have to make some decisions about who you think this person is. Are they sociable? Are they male or female? Try to solve the case before we reveal the true identity, and learn quite how much our smartphones reveal about us in the process!
