Continuing the conversation…The Challenge of Inclusive Learning

The aim of theFacing out, Facing in: lecture and discussion series is to explore pedagogic possibilities and extend practice. This follow on session aims to extend the discussion from the lecture with Professor Geoff Layer & Dr Leanne Thompson (for those who missed the lecture a recording of the event will follow) and facilitate collegial connections across the institution to share, exchange, develop their understanding and practice of the topic.

All colleagues are welcome, attendance at the Facing out lecture does not preclude you. A recording of the lecture will be available.

This workshop will explore….

1. How can your role influence an inclusive student experience?

2. What does an inclusive curriculum and/or inclusive student experience look like to you?

&

3. What implications does working towards an inclusive curriculum have for your teaching?

A central Education Strategy objectives is to review the curriculum with an inclusive lens. This space facilitates time to explore ideas and teaching practice, and set in motion inclusive connections across the curriculum.

This event is coordinated by the Institute for Curriculum Enhancment
