PhD studentResearch Overview
My key areas of interest are learner corpora, language testing, L2 pragmatics, and learner discourse. My PhD project concerns how L2 speakers express opinions, or evaluative meanings, in the context of language test. I examine the linguistic features or patterns that occur in L2 opinion-giving, utilising the Trinity Lancaster Corpus.
