PhD studentResearch Overview
I am interested in examining plasma physics in a range of environments and producing numerical models of these regions. I am currently investigating plasma convection in the Jovian magnetosphere from the Io plasma torus radially outwards, particularly the process of transport via the radial-interchange instability. This is performed through the construction of a 2.5D hybrid kinetic-ion, fluid-electron MI coupled plasma model.
