Scholarships for undergraduate students

If you're starting an undergraduate programme with Lancaster in 2022, then these opportunities are available to you.

Information on scholarships and bursaries for students beginning their students in 2023 will be published soon.

  • Lancaster Scholarship

    Up to £2,000 in the first year of study only for Home students, dependent on entry grades.

  • Lancaster Opportunity Scholarship

    Up to £1,000 per year of study for Home students, who have received a contextually lowered offer.

  • Lancaster Global Scholarship

    Lancaster University will offer a generous scholarship to high-achieving students who are liable for International tuition fees.

  • Lancaster Bursary

    Up to £1,000 per year of study for undergraduate Home students, dependent on household income.

  • Lancaster Sanctuary Scholarship

    Our Sanctuary Scholarship offers students who are refugees or have humanitarian protection the support and resources they need to integrate into our community here at Lancaster.

  • Warm Welcome Scholarship

    Lancaster is taking part in the British Council's Warm Welcome Scholarship Scheme to give assistance to eligible scholars in the UK with links to Afghanistan.

  • Faculty Scholarships

    We offer a range of scholarships awarded directly through our faculties and departments.

Scholarships for postgraduate students

If you're starting a postgraduate course with Lancaster in 2022, then you may be eligible for some of these offers. 

  • Lancaster Masters Scholarship

    Lancaster University will offer a generous scholarship to Masters students who are liable for Home tuition fees.

  • Alumni Loyalty Scholarship

    Up to 20% off fees for all Taught Masters degrees, subject to your undergraduate results.

  • Lancaster Business Masters Scholarship

    Lancaster University will offer a generous scholarship to Business Masters students who are liable for International tuition fees.

  • Lancaster Global Scholarship

    Lancaster University will offer a generous scholarship to high-achieving students who are liable for International tuition fees.

  • Lancaster Sanctuary Scholarship

    Funding for tuition fees, living costs and flights for Chinese PhD students, following a successful application.

  • Chevening Scholarships

    Full funding for international postgraduate students, depending on eligibility criteria.

  • Commonwealth Scholarships

    Full funding for international postgraduate students, depending on eligibility criteria.

  • Fulbright Award

    Full funding for international postgraduate students, depending on eligibility criteria.
