I am a PhD Candidate at Lancaster University since May 2019. My PhD project focuses on the impact of economic shocks on health and health inequalities.
I am a member of the EvaluAES Committee at the Spanish Health Economics Association (AES).
Research Overview
My primary research lies in the fields of Health Economics and Public Policy Evaluation. The research questions I am currently interested in are: i) the impact of business cycle conditions on the physical and mental health; ii) the measurement of health inequalities, with a particular focus on the interaction between socioeconomic factors and health inequities; iii) the impact of public policies on perinatal health and fertility behaviour; and iv) the measurement of patients' preferences using Discrete Choice Experiments (DCE).

Career Details
I hold a bachelor of science in Economics from Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Spain), a master of science in Health Economics at the Erasmus University Rotterdam (the Netherlands) and a research master in Applied Economics from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (Spain).
