Shayan Rashidi
PhD student, Associate LecturerResearch Overview
As an early academic researcher, my research is driven by the organisational consequences of emerging technologies in general and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in particular. Viewing AI as novel source of intelligence that is capable to function alongside Human Intelligence (HI) rather than a mere automation tool, I examined how organisations adopt AI, how this adoption transforms them, and how it enhances their innovation capacities. Building on this research focus, my trajectory as a qualitative researcher centres on exploring how AI influences the routine dynamics and practices of organisations, enables the emergence of new ones, and ultimately impacts organisational structures and strategies, as well as supports the development of new business models and entrepreneurial ventures.
