Profile

Xuerui is a PhD candidate in Finance at the Department of Accounting and Finance, Lancaster University Management School (LUMS). Her doctoral research focuses on ESG issues, corporate innovation, employee and board characteristics, and market reactions. She is supervised by Dr. George Wang, Professor Argyro Panaretou, and Dr Hui Xu.

Before joining LUMS, Xuerui was a Lecturer in Finance at Swan College, Central South University of Forestry and Technology in China. She holds an MSc in Financial Economics from the Johns Hopkins University and a BSc with Highest Distinction, double majoring in Economics and Finance, from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.
